Offered here is vintage Audemars Piguet watch in 18K white gold. The case measures 25.6 mm across by 34.8 mm long.
The bezel is set with 26 baguette cut diamonds. Interestingly, the eight diamonds in the very corners have one side cut at 45 degrees angle to fit the corners best. The diamonds range from 3.1 mm to 3.6 mm in length by 2 mm in width. The eight corner ones are 5.4 mm long. Total diamond weight is estimated to 2.9 carats. The diamonds are of VS clarity and G,H color and no doubt set at the factory. The dial is glossy black and was refinished in the past. The case is hallmarked on the 3 o'clock side and also inside the case cover. The original Audemars Piguet bracelet is hallmarked in 3 places. The original Audemars Piguet manual wind 17 jewels movement is adjusted to temperature and 4 positions.
It was serviced in June 2021 and runs fine. The case back had an inscription which was filled in the past. A few surface imperfections remain. This watch will presently fit up to a 6.6 inch wrist but an extension can be made to accommodate a larger wrist.
This watch weighs 59 grams.
